What is Outsource Highway? Outsource Highway is a service that connects providers with buyers that need custom projects done. Much like an auction, buyers post projects, and interested providers bid on them. What are the fees? Signing up is always a free. Posting a job is free. Posting a regular project is free. Bidding on a project is free. Once the buyer selects a provider and the provider accepts, both buyer and provider are charged a low project acceptance fee of only $5 each. Elite membership costs $6 per month. Elite members do not pay project posting fees or project acceptance fees. The posting fee for a featured project is always $20. There are no other fees for featured projects. Payments are processed by Paypal. Credit card payments are accepted through Paypal. What payment methods can I use? You can safely deposit money to your OutsourceHighway.com account through your PAYPAL account. We accept payments by CREDIT CARD through Paypal as well. More payment options are being considered and will be added over the next few weeks. Do you offer escrow? How does it work? Yes we do! Through our safe escrow feature, the buyer pays his/her provider only after the project has been completed. This offers assurances to both buyer and provider. 1. At the beginning of the project, the buyer puts the project cost in an escrow account. The provider is notified that money has been set aside and will be available once work has been completed. Only the provider (or site administrator) can cancel the escrow. 2. The provider works confidently on the project knowing that money has been set aside for his/her payment. 3. Once the work is done, the buyer releases the escrow to the provider's account. What is the Elite Membership? As an Elite Member of OutsourceHighway.com, you do not pay any fees for regular projects. All regular project posting fees and acceptance fees are waived. As of 30-may-2008, Elite Membership costs a low $6 per month. I am a provider, how do I ask a buyer questions about his/her project during the bidding process? Buyers and bidders are not allowed to communicate outside of OutsourceHighway.com during the bidding process. To ask a buyer questions during the bidding process, you can use our PROJECT MESSAGE BOARD. Can buyers and providers exchange email addresses during the bidding process? No, buyers and providers are not allowed to attempt to exchange email addresses. Once the project has been assigned, OutsourceHighway.com will give each party the other's email address. Any attempt to pass contact information through the PROJECT MESSAGE BOARD or otherwise constitutes a violation of the Terms of Conditions set forth by OutsourceHighway.com. Are members allowed to negotiate the price of a project outside of OutsourceHighway.com? No. The buyers and sellers of services are prohibited from negotiating the price of the project outside of the features provided by OutsourceHighway.com. For these purposes, both buyers and sellers are prohibited from disclosing their personal contact details (like email address, ICQ number, phone number, etc.) through any of the features on this Website, including but not limited to, the Project Description, Bid Details, Personal Message Board, Project Clarification Board etc. Once the buyer selects the winning bid, both the buyer and seller will be supplied with the email address of the other party by OutsourceHighway.com.
